Trail runners experience amazing residual fitness benefits that include improved joint strength and stability, usage of a greater range of muscles than when road running, the less responsive terrain is also kinder on the joints and the energy expenditure (calories burned) is significant. It is the most natural outdoor workout there is, and in our opinion, the most rewarding.

The Guided Walking service we offer, has exploration as the focus, as opposed to specific fitness. Walking is a wonderful activity for health, but it can also be a great way to relax. Exploring a new area, treading new paths and reaching unknown summits with wide ranging views will be a great reward for using us as your guide here in the Clwydian Hills AONB and throughout North Wales.
Expect to be guided by a fully qualified leader, who will also educate you on the area around you. We feel that a walk should be fun, social and educating – and that is what you will get from us here at WalkRun Clwydian. We are passionate about what we do and the area we operate in, this will come across during your time with us.
